    To fulfill the vision of developing a strong and compelling national voice in Christian education, Christian Schools Canada is hiring an Executive Director to bring presence to the national stage.

    As Canada’s national hub for Christian School organizations, Christian Schools Canada leverages organizational strengths and collaborates together for the thriving of Christian education.

    We are seeking a part-time (0.3-0.4 FTE) Executive Director who shares this vision: an experienced leader who understands leaders and works well with a variety of people, is passionate about Christian education, and is able to cultivate a diverse community with a shared vision. We are seeking a leader who is able to develop a strong collaborative network to further Christian education across Canada and internationally; a leader who understands the complexity and context of the Canadian educational scene and who has skill, competency, and vision for taking CSC to the next stage in its journey. This role will involve leading the board, expanding strategic collaborations and laying the groundwork for a growing organization. The successful candidate has an authentic and dynamic relationship with Christ, will lead with character, courage, care, compassion, and be collaborative in their leadership style.

    Lacombe Christian School is a thriving, independent Pre K-9 school, with over 450 students. We are approaching our 80th anniversary as a school, a testament to God’s faithfulness.     Salary & Compensation

    • Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 per year
    • Health Benefits Program: The program is cost shared (70:30) between NCCS and administrator. Covers 70% Basic Dental and 70% Extended Health Care with small amounts of Life and Critical Illness Insurance.
    • RRSP Matching Program: For every dollar the employee puts towards an RRSP NCCS will match 33 cents.
    • Moving Costs: Negotiable

    Qualifications

    • Valid BC teaching certificate
    • Master's degree in education or a related field is an asset
    • A minimum of five years of teaching experience in a K-9 setting
    • A proven track record of effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Experienced teacher (minimum of 5 years) with training and understanding of the meaning and value of a faith-based learning environment
    • Principal or Vice Principal experience is considered an asset
    • Acceptance of the NCCS Statement of Faith, without reservation
